Singapore

…and my last Stop! I can’t believe that these two and a half month are already over. Anyway, I’m enjoying my last evening with a Singapore Sling and later with good Japanese foot in this hyper modern (and expensive) city. Unfortunately, the weather hasn’t been that nice to me. Nevertheless, I’ve enjoyed the architectonical contrast and get a hint about tomorrows cities.
Cheers!

Bali

If someone’s going to ask me “which was your favorite place in South East Asia?”, I’ll answer Bali. This island is absolutely beautiful. As a big India fan, Bali has the same hindu energy and lovely people adding the wonderful Balinese style, beautiful beaches and food.
I also visited Ketut (remember ‘Eat Pray Love’?), everything will be Happy Happy! I finally could dive and it was amazing (skip Sanur, go to Nusa Lembongan), shark, turtles, snake and lots of fishes! It was definitely too short, so I have to come back!

Prambanan Temple

The ancient temple that was dedicated to the Trimurti gods (Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva) is a beautiful Hindu-Buddhist architecture enshrouded in mystery, and is touted as one of most beautiful Hindu temples in the world.

Yogya, Taman Sari or Water Castle

Built in 1758, it used to be a beautiful water castle and it was once a splendid pleasure park of the Sultan and Royal Families.

Jakarta

Indonesia’s capital is quiet a busy city, really busy. It’s chaotic, dirty, grey, super modern buildings and shopping malls, with an traffic even worse than Bogota, funny smelling and really hot.
I really haven’t seen much of this city as it was impossible to cross from a to b within an hour.
So, I have made a really curiosity visit to a place where you can have fresh cobra blood, snake meat as well as the organs. It’s quiet interesting how people believe of the magic by eating/drinking snakes.
I didn’t try it, call me a coward. I couldn’t do it. But I definitely will have a cobra steak during my visit in Indonesia

Kuala Lumpur

Malaysia’s capital is an amazing city in the middle of the jungle, full of skyscrapers, super modern and fancy shopping malls, great food and nice people. But the most fascinating: the Petronas Twin Towers, awesome!
